About

Born and raised on Vancouver Island, I have been blessed to have the opportunity to immerse myself into the bountiful natural environment that the  incredible West Coast has to offer.  I have had a close connection with nature and animals since I was a very young child.  My childhood dream was to be a veterinarian or an artist.  Anyone that truly knows me, understands that I have been rescuing and treating injured and abandoned animals my whole life.  Voila! There is the vet piece done! I have always been an artist.  I am now at a place in my life where I am  ready to share my creations with you.  I utilize a multitude of mediums, incorporating many together to create 3 dimensional, eclectic pieces.  I work with a variety of painting techniques, including oil, water colour, acrylic and epoxy.  Sculpture and driftwood art are close to my heart. Every piece of driftwood gathered over the years has personal meaning for me. I believe that this is translated into my artwork.

I do my very best to utilize natural and environmentally friendly products & supplies in my creations. This includes refurbished and recycled materials, natural forest and beach items.  I am careful to never take live sea or forest creatures. I save worms from puddles. 😊 Being a steward for this planet is very important to me. So is giving back.  A percentage of my proceeds will be donated to a charity close to my heart, Flirting With Fido (see link below).  More details will be announced in the near future. My hope is for my art to move and inspire others with feelings of joy, hope and positivity.

Just Follow your Bliss.

With warm regards.
